Stopped for lunch on the way from Milan to Bormio, fantastic find, great service, wonderful food, generous and kind host.
Who needs a Michelin star when you can have **authentic Italian food that tastes like heaven?** From the moment we stepped into this charming **trattoria**, we knew we were in for something special. We started with **pizzoccheri**, a dish so rich and comforting it felt like a warm Italian hug. Then came the **tagliata**, cooked to absolute **perfection**, paired with the **best polenta in the world**—and trust me, I usually hate polenta! But this? Creamy, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat.Just when we thought it couldn’t get better, out came the **panna cotta**—silky, delicate, and simply divine. And let’s not forget the **service**—warm, welcoming, and effortlessly efficient, making us feel like honored guests at an Italian family table.Even the **bathrooms** were spotless and beautifully maintained—because in Italy, details matter! **Final Verdict?** **Authenticity:** 10/10 **Flavors:** 10/10 **Service:** 10/10 **Ambience:** 10/10 **Overall Experience:** I’d give it 11/10 if I could!#ItalyFood #BestTrattoria #ItalianCuisine #FoodieHeaven #Pizzoccheri #PolentaDoneRight #Tagliata #PannaCotta #AuthenticItaly
Good experience, typical Valtellina cousine and local wine, desserts homemade delicious. Value for money excellent. Recommended
Very nice place just off the road. The food was nice, servers very friendly, lots of people coming to buy some local specialties in the little shop.
Huge delicious sandwiches, friendly service. Don't expect a variety of options, but what's on the menu is great
The food is amazing, staff is so friendly and speak english. Prices are really decent. The place is open always, even in the middle of the day when most of the restaurants are closed.
Amazing place and super friendly staff. The front looks like a small store with cafe and sweets, however, the back offers a big dining space. Let me tell you the dining is what you don't want to miss. The food here is absolutely amazing! Traditional Italian food prepared to perfection. The staff is also very engaged in trying to teach some helpful Italian :)
Wow. My friend and I have stopped here for breakfast before going rock climbing. We also came for lunch over.I had one of the greatest meals of my life. We shared "grandma's gnocchi" and a mixed grill. Wow. Absolutely perfect. I will never forget this and will come back again before I leave and hopefully some other time in the future.
